What is CommerceRail?
CommerceRail is the merchant-enablement layer for agentic commerce. AI agents are becoming the storefront; we make any merchant - especially the long-tail, food/local and emerging-market ones the giants skip - discoverable and buyable by every agent, routed through the merchant's own processor.
How is it different from Stripe?
Stripe is a processor and is building agent-readiness for its own (largely big-US) merchants on its own rails. CommerceRail is neutral: agent-agnostic and processor-agnostic. We sit on top of whatever processor a merchant already uses - including Stripe - and make them buyable across every agent, not just one. We don't custody funds and we're not a competing rail; we're the standard gauge that connects merchants to all of them.
Which AI agents does it cover?
We publish your catalog to the surfaces agents actually read: ChatGPT (including the app/MCP pattern), Perplexity, Google AI and Claude - and we track each platform's feed and checkout protocols (ACP, Visa Intelligent Commerce, Mastercard Agent Pay, Trusted Agent Protocol) so you never have to.
Do you touch my money?
Never. Buyers complete checkout on your own store, on your own processor; settlement reaches your bank exactly as it does today. Because we're non-custodial we can't hold, delay, or take a cut of your funds - and you don't inherit any new regulatory exposure.
Do I need to touch crypto?
No. No crypto, no tokens, no wallets. Agents pay with normal tokenized cards and network agent credentials; your money settles on your existing rails.
What does it cost?
A tiered subscription by merchant size (free tier included - roughly $0–$199/mo) plus a small fee per agent-attributed order, so you mostly pay as the new channel actually earns. No cut of your GMV, ever. Pricing is indicative while we firm it up with design partners.
How do I know it's working?
The dashboard shows you proof, not promises: your Agent Visibility Score (how discoverable your catalog is, per agent, with fixes ordered by impact), AI-traffic analytics (actual visits from GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and friends), and an Agent Simulator that answers the question your customer would ask ChatGPT - grounded in your live catalog.
